Review the payment options and order total at checkout before placing your order. This page explains payment handling, currency, billing issues, and refunds for surprisejoys.

Available payment methods

The accepted methods are those displayed at checkout for your location, device, and order. Options may vary. A card network or payment service mentioned elsewhere is not a promise that it is available for every transaction; use the actual checkout options to confirm.

Prices, currency, and total charges

The final checkout identifies the currency and total payable, including applicable discounts, shipping, and any taxes collected by us. Our free standard shipping threshold is US$78 for qualifying orders. If your checkout uses a different currency, any applicable converted threshold and total are displayed there.

Your card issuer or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate, international transaction fee, or other charge. Such provider charges are separate from our displayed price. Contact the provider for its fee rules.

Payment authorization and verification

Payment services used during checkout handle authorization and may request verification or additional authentication. An authorization hold is not necessarily a completed charge. If an order is declined, check your billing details and available funds, or contact your payment provider before trying again.

Do not email passwords, card security codes, or complete card numbers. If we need information to locate a payment, an order number, payment reference, and appropriately redacted evidence are normally the starting point.

No confirmation or possible duplicate payment?

Check your spam folder and the transaction status with your payment provider. Avoid placing repeated orders while a payment remains pending. Email service@surprisejoys.com with your checkout email, approximate order time, and a redacted reference so we can check whether an order exists.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is explained in our Return Policy and Shipping & Delivery policy. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another lawful arrangement is agreed. Your provider may need additional time to post the credit after we issue it.

Billing disputes

If a charge looks incorrect, contact us so we can investigate and help resolve it. This does not prevent you from using your payment provider’s dispute process or exercising any rights under applicable law.
